Belarus introduces a visa-free regime for the citizens of the People's Republic of China with the passports for official tours. The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed an appropriate Decree No. 173.
The document makes provision for a visa-free procedure for entry, departure, transit, and temporary residence in the territory of Belarus for a period up to 30 days for the citizens of the P.R.C. having the passports for official tours as travel documents, the statement of the press service of the President reads.
These passports are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Chinese foreign institutions, as well as the departments of foreign affairs of the local popular governments to the persons bearing an office of deputy heads of countries and below, employees of state-financed organizations, state enterprises, and joint-stock financial institutions.
This decision is aimed at further activation of business cooperation between Belarus and China, primarily, at the interregional level.
