The Government will not carry out a revision of privatization results, Belarus Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich said at the press-conference held on November 16 under the VII th Belarusian Investment Forum.
“There were no and there will be no revisions of other investment contracts in Belarus. Those investors who took part in the privatization and who established joint ventures have nothing to worry about ", Myasnikovich stated.
Speaking of the situation with confectionary factories Spartak and Kommunarka, Myasnikovich noted that the results of these enterprises privatization would have been inspected sooner or later. The inspection performed by the State Control Committee revealed that not all the main assets had been taken into account in the equity stake redistribution, according to Prime Minister. Today "relevant decisions was taken in respect to Kommunarka and Spartak and both companies will continue their operation ", Myasnikovich considers.
